Coordinator / Supervisor at Fontänhuset

Fontänhuset is a member-based organization for individuals with experience of mental health issues and social exclusion. Through a work-oriented daily routine, we create a safe, inclusive, and meaningful environment where participation, respect, and community are our guiding principles. We follow the Fontänhus model – an internationally recognized method for psychosocial rehabilitation – which is based on members and supervisors jointly running the organization.

We are looking for an initiative-taking, solution-focused, and creative supervisor who is engaging, driven, and unpretentious. You are someone who actively seeks information independently, is motivated to learn new things, and continuously develop yourself. You easily adapt to new systems, tasks, and contexts, and you know how to find out what you don’t already know. When circumstances change, you think innovatively, take initiative, and create structure even in complex situations. This role is for you who quickly see opportunities, think outside the box when conditions change, and who can generate enthusiasm around you with energy and initiative.

The Core of the Assignment

Your main assignment is to:

  • drive the organization together with the members
  • engage, motivate, and stimulate participation in the work-oriented day
  • identify, strengthen, and develop each member's talents, interests, and abilities

More About the Role

You do not work with pre-made programs or schedules, but create content and structure together with the members. Through your engagement, presence, support, and leadership, you contribute to making the organization meaningful, active, and developing – every day. The role combines operational supervision with strategic development work. You work closely with the members in the daily clubhouse while being a key person in organization, administration, and collaboration.

As a non-profit organization, we do not have fixed tasks. You need to be very structured while also being very flexible. One moment you lead meetings, document, or collaborate with authorities, the next moment you work practically in the kitchen, garden, or around the property – always together with the members.

You have a clear responsibility to:

  • actively supervise and engage members in the work-oriented day
  • keep processes together and create structure and routines
  • ensure that the organization functions, develops, and grows
  • contribute to members feeling needed, involved, and motivated
  • plan, organize, and implement the organization's work together with the members
  • identify members' strengths and create meaningful tasks based on these
  • be responsible for and develop administrative routines
  • coordinate and drive collaboration projects with primary care, psychiatry, and social services
  • support members in contacts with authorities and individual development plans
  • contribute to organizational development and new working methods
  • work with digital tools (Teams, Canva, documentation, social media)
  • be an administrative and organizational support to the operations manager

We Are Looking For You Who

  • has relevant education, such as social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education in social psychiatry
  • has experience in psychosocial work and engaging people in change processes
  • is confident in taking responsibility for driving the organization, not just participating in it
  • is structured, initiative-taking, and persistent
  • has a good understanding of social structures and collaboration with authorities
  • is relationship-building, unpretentious, and comfortable in meeting people with mental health issues
  • is technically proficient and familiar with administrative systems
  • has excellent knowledge of Swedish and preferably English
  • has a B driver's license

Meritorious

It is meritorious if you have a university degree and previous experience working in psychiatry or in work rehabilitation (IPS, Supported Employment, or Supported Education). We welcome experience from non-profit or member-based organizations.

We Offer You

We offer a meaningful and varied job where you make a real difference. At Fontänhuset, we have secure employment conditions with a collective agreement. The position is a permanent full-time employment. We apply a 6-month probationary period. With us, you receive employee benefits such as a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK/year and a wellness hour per week.

Contact Information and Application

In this recruitment, we collaborate with Kraftplan HR Business Partner. If you have questions about the position, please contact Brita Westberg at 070-142 76 13 or [email protected]. Selection and interviews are ongoing, so please apply as soon as possible, but no later than 26-02-22.

Welcome with your application!
